Byron Bay Videos - Order Form

Two videos have been produced locally which are interesting to anyone wanting to get a good idea of what the area is like and what the people living here are trying to do for the environment.

The first is mostly a visual introduction to the area, its character and attractions. The second covers the political battle that has taken place here to replace the pro-development council with a more green approach.

We have agreed to accept orders for these videos which will be passed onto to the local producers to arrange shipment.

 

'Byron Bay - Jewel of Australia'

Byron Bay is the most easterly point of Australia. Although just a little town, it is known worldwide. Located 800km north of Sydney, it is one of the most visited attractions on the east coast. Beautiful beaches and lots of entertainment make this place an unforgetable experience.

'The Battle for Byron'

Produced over a two year period, this documentary film traces the environmental and political battle that took place when 'green' residents of Byron shire took on a pro-development council who tried to overide their views. Shown on national television, this documentary film has been an inspiration to other communities determined to preserve beautiful countryside. A$40.00 plus A$12 handling and postage.
